The Mission
The Embassy of the Republic of Angola represents the Angolan State before the Government of the United States of America, conducts the bilateral relationship in the political, economic, defence and cultural fields, and provides protection and assistance to Angolan citizens living in or travelling through its jurisdiction.
The chancery operates in Washington, D.C., and is organised into sectors, each responsible for a specific area of the relationship between the two countries.
The Mission also holds accreditation to other States in the region, serving the Angolan community across the whole consular jurisdiction.

Alongside its diplomatic work, the Mission provides consular services to Angolan and foreign nationals: visas, passports, civil registration, authentications and powers of attorney. Appointments take place at the chancery, at 2100–2108 16th Street NW.
Consular services
