The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, received American actor, producer and musician Will Smith this morning (26) at the Presidential Palace in Luanda, during his visit to Angola.

Following the meeting, Will Smith said that his discussions with President João Lourenço focused on issues related to the development and promotion of Angola’s tourism sector.
He highlighted the exciting atmosphere in the country, stressing that the “positive energy conveyed by the people is an important factor in Angola’s progress.”
The American star also expressed his interest in returning to Angola and raised the possibility of filming scenes for movies and television series in the country, including an upcoming production associated with “Bad Boys.”
Willard Carroll Smith, his full name, was born in the American city of Philadelphia and has become one of the most influential figures in the entertainment industry over the past three decades.
He is in Angola as part of an E1 League delegation led by Alejandro Agag. The organisation is expected to hold a round of the E1 World Championship, the world’s electric powerboat racing championship, in Angola later this year.
